Larry Bird Fan Gets Caged

According to news reports, an Oklahoma fan of Larry Bird may have carried his obsession a bit too far.  After being sentenced to 28 years, the Oklahoma man told the judge that he should sentence him to 33 years -- since he was a Larry Bird fan and that was BIrd's number.  The judge obliged.

Too bad for him, he wasn't a Robert Parrish fan (00).  But then again, things could have been worse.  He could have been a Wayne Gretzky fan.
