When the blizzard hit in 78 I was 11 yrs old....I was in the house, untill we started running out of food, so walked with my brothers down to Village Pantry to buy some groceries, what they had left..They were sold out of milk, eggs and also bread...We bought what we could, the snow was up pass my waiste. It was a snow storm I would never forget and had carried the news on to my kids how it was back in 78....
