An additional 2.5 hours of CLE Ethics credits have been approved for the Indiana Solo and Small Firm Conference in South Bend, June 2-4. This brings the total to 5.5 hours Ethics CLE available at the Conference.
David Link's dinner presentation has been approved for 1.0 hours Ethics CLE. This means you will get an hour of ethics CLE just for going to dinner! David is the long-time Dean of the Notre Dame Law School who now heads the International Centre for Healing and the Law. He will speak on lawyers as healers.
Also approved for 1.0 hour of ethics CLE is Chris Stiegemeyer's program on "I'm Fired -- How to Properly Withdraw as Counsel." Chris is the Director of Risk Management for Conference Gold Sponsor The Bar Plan. Chris' other program, "The Talk -- What to Say to Your Client When You Commit Malpractice," is also approved for 1.0 hour Ethics CLE.
The panel program on Tips for the True Solo has also been approved for .5 hours Ethics CLE, along with .5 hours NLS.
These programs join the previously approved programs obtaining Ethics CLE: "Ethical Issues and the Elderly Client" presented by George Slater and Dr. Nancy Slater; and "How to Intervene When Someone You Know Needs Help," presented by JLAP Executive Director Terry Harrell.
